African Communication Network (Pty) Ltd. (ACN) was formed in 1993 in anticipation of the cellular
industry as a Specialist Installation House. To date we have installed over 75,000 hands-free car-kits and in addition
to this Tracker has now appointed us as their first principle Installation contractor for the internationally recognized
Tracker: Stolen Vehicle Recovery System in S.A.
ACN have been involved in the cellular industry since inception and have pioneered numerous concepts with great success.
This industry has seen many players come and go. ACN have been dominant in the corporate and motor dealer arena and we have seen an
opportunity within the retail sector to provide an easy and confident platform to sell from.
ACN is recognized as the largest specialist cellular fitment centre in South Africa and due to this we have differentiated ourselves
from the rest of the players in terms of providing a complete turnkey solution to the market place. We have a fully fledged corporate,
motor dealer and cellular specific sales team complimented by a team of highly skilled and motivated installers of which it is rumored
that we are regarded as the “Rolls Royce” of installation companies in SA.
Over the past eight years, the hands-free car-kit has traditionally been a luxuries driven commodity. The hands-free car-kit has not been
exposed to the type of subsidies the terminals have enjoyed. This has stunted the growth potential of the sales of hands-free car-kits due
to the price parity between the terminal and the hands-free car-kit. ACN was formed at the inception of cellular, with a vision to become
the ultimate provider of specialist GSM based products.
