Treated timber for building, fencing poles & droppers
Treated timber is used for many varied situations. The preference for treated timber is that the treatment extends the life of the timber as it protects it against termites, decay and timber borers. Treated timber also weathers the elements better than untreated timber. In order to produce our treated timber, we expose the timber to the Creosote Treatment Process. This is one of the oldest and trusted ways of manufacturing treated timber. Creosote is especially effective as a repellent to insects, which then gives the treated timber its famed longevity over untreated timber. The versatility of treated timber as opposed to untreated timber is that the treated timber is suitable for indoor and outdoor use in both residential and commercial settings. For outdoor use, our treated timber building poles and fencing poles make good sense for building sheds, gazebos and other outdoor features. Click here for more on our treated timber products.
More on fencing & building poles
When working with treated timber, one need never again wonder about droppers, fencing poles or building poles rotting in the ground. The treated timber we use to make our droppers and fencing or building poles is such that the pressure of the treatment process ensures the timber poles are useless as food for termites so they’ll never attack the droppers and building or fencing poles. All our droppers, fencing poles and building poles come in a variety of lengths, diametres and masses and are made from treated timber from the Eucalyptus species. Decking
The use of timber for decking is now more popular than ever. Decking of any kind requires good sturdy sawn timber to withhold great weights. The beauty of decking, especially in climates such as ours, is well appreciated and our decking is in great demand all year round. Decking is ideal for outdoor use and features in many homes and buildings. Decking has very successfully been used around pools and hot tubs as it repels water. Click here now for more.
