Different types of coffee explained

Espresso

The espresso also is known as a “short black” is the foundation and the most important part of every espresso-based drink

Americano

An Americano is a hot water with an espresso shot extracted on top of the hot water.

Café Latte

A café latte or “latte” for short is an espresso base with steamed milk and micro-foam added to the coffee. The steamed milk makes this drink slightly sweeter than espresso. The steamed milk makes up most of this drink.

Cappuccino

A cappuccino is similar to a latte but the key difference is that a cappuccino has more foam and is made in a cup instead of a tumbler glass.

Flat White

A flat white is presented in a cup just like a cappuccino, however, it does not have foam. It consists of espresso and steamed milk.

Café Mocha

A café mocha is a mix of hot chocolate and cappuccino. Chocolate powder is mixed with the espresso base before steamed milk and microfoam are added to the drink.
